Deadly!!
Wonder what price they will be by christmas (i bloody hate the term 'the holiday season'!!) anyone any thoughts?
New toast sounds tasty also. Drag and drop will be nice. I hate the procedure involved in burning discs.
Though this will I'm sure require some little toast prog to run in the backround, which is one of my big windows hates!!
Embed that feature in leopard I say.I run multiple copies of Toast 7 simultaneously daily on the Quad. It's drag and drop feature is great and the custom encode parameters make fitting anything on one single layer disc a snap. When encoding HD Video from EyeTV2 digital broadcast recordings it can use up to about 2.5 cores at once.
However after running 7.1 a few days, I had to revert to 7.0.2 as 7.1 crashes way too often. :(

I'm on a Core i7 860 @ 2.8GHz 8GB mem running Windows 7.
I'm 9% through my first task running on a single core. (I'll figure out how to use more cores later...)

I recently updated to 4.3.2, and whenever I try to apply a lockscreen theme I get this result:
http://i51.tinypic.com/28aupaf.png
The regular slide to unlock image is always there no matter which theme I choose. Is this a problem with 4.3.2? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Oh silly gays when will you learn. ;)but yeah if a white person called me a n word i'd be mad so the same applies here. I'd be pissed if someone called me a bundle of stocks. :D
If a white person called you the N word, you should be examining your tolerance in their ignorance as well as their ignorance. You shouldn't be so quick to react, because they are looking for that reaction out of you; that is why they call you it. It could be said that you are living up to the slur that you are being called.
Disclaimer: I'm also Black. I don't let the word get to me because it empowers them if I show any reaction to it that doesn't benefit me.
Back on topic though.. the F word.. what were to happen if you were overseas (the UK, for example), and someone uses the F word while drawing a puff from the Camel or Marlboro in their mouth. Would you be so quick to judge and react then?
BL.

Blood transfusions have quite literally saved my life - twice - yet I am ineligible to give due to a past cancer.
If you can, please give. You'll help people like me live to see another Mac. :)
Very touching.

Some months ago I posted asking if any one knew what the real ending to DOOM32x was, and some others wanted to know as well. A person on another site found the ending on YouTube. Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNGEQwSN6zU)

What a load of crap, they've always tracked users, as have all the other makers. This is not unique to Apple, nor is it unique to any smartphone brand or model.
The only surprise would be to those who do not read the EULA.
You bought it, you signed for it, you had a chance to read the EULA.
If you failed to, because "it was too long and complicated" sorry but that's on you.
Me?
I could give a flip, it's part of the connected web experience of my daily life. I don't have anything to hide and even if I did, there's no hiding anything these days anyway.
Anyone thinking differently, is either going to one hell of a lot of trouble to hide, or is simply in denial.
Really? you read every 120 page document that came with every piece of software you install? And understood it without a lawyer?
And Really? you have nothing to hide? pshh. What about when you sign up for life insurance only to find out you cant get it because google sold your location to the insurance co. complete with logs of you going to (or near) the liquor store on a daily basis. Or the clinic.

I ask this simple question for you memory geeks out there. When will a 2 gigglebyte chip of the same form factor become available sufficient for a Shuffle "second generation", "version 2"?
Rocketman
We could then call the 2GB - 2nd Gen Shuffle as "True 2G Shuffle". :D

This is a great offer. But how about unlimited calls to any states in the US? I think it would be very good for a subscriber who wants to call anywhere in the US. thanks.

I'm sure many CDMA loyalists want to wait for the newest iPhone to launch rather than get locked in to last year's model.
the iPhone 5, or 4s or whatever it will be called, should see more sales from the CDMA folks

Back in the 90s, auto magazines in the US criticized the Jetta for being too small (similar criticisms were leveled at the underrated Mondeo sold here as the Contour). I always like the in-between size of the Jetta, but apparently most Americans prefer larger cars.
I would like to think I'm wrong, but most Americans seem to correlate size and quality, i.e. bigger cars are better. People can't understand why anyone would buy a smaller car when a bigger one could be had at the same price.
I have owned three "small" cars. A 1988 Ford Tempo, a 1990 Geo Storm, and a 1995 Ford Probe. All three were solid cars. However I have not bought a small car in many years for one reason. It's not that "big" cars are better because they're big. It's because generally speaking, the gas mileage on most smaller cars isn't better than those of standard sedans. In some cases it's worse. Case in point: Nissan Versa vs. Nissan Altima 2.5SL. The Altima destroys the Versa in real world mileage. Plus you get the added room and comfort and features. The price is only slightly higher in terms of monthly payments.

Wow... that whole site is down. Too much traffic, or has Apple's top secret FBI assasin group struck again. One things for sure... don't "F" with those boys and their secrets.
And to the Safari-haters, show some love. Safari might be a little short on features if you're used to Fox or Omni, but at the end of the day it's still the most elegant and simple browser out there, and it does have its strengths. It's RSS reader was pretty groundbreaking, and still is one of the best, it's one of the few browsers that actually handles fonts and anti-aliasing properly, and it renders CSS layouts very cleanly and without bugs for the most part. So don't hate so much. It's only going to get better every time.

so this is only unlimited "to" any mobile, what about "From"
Hope they do this on verizon as well. Is it unlimited calling TO and FROM cell phones?
I'm suspicious of the TO any mobile. Does it differentiate incoming from outgoing?
From the press release (http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=19039&cdvn=news&newsarticleid=31589):
**Mobile to Any Mobile Calling - Available only with select Nation and FamilyTalk plans. Direct calls to & direct calls received from US mobile numbers only. Rollover Minutes: Unused Anytime Mins expire after the 12th billing period. Night & Weekend & Mobile to Mobile mins do not roll over.

But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.
There are a number of att customers who find the service mediocre at best, but are willing to put up with it, verizon may be better. Still others didn't know att would be that bad but where stuck into contracts, and it worked well enough to justify waiting and not paying the termination fee. Furthermore, there are plenty of people who have no problems with att, but media hype and aggressive advertising has convinced them they do have a problem, so they will switch. I'm sticking with ATT, it has worked great for years and years for me.
