Apple has posted a note detailing the security fixes in 4.3.2:

They include blacklisting of the fake Comodo SSL certificates (http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2011/03/comodo-compromise/) as well as fixes for holes in Webkit that malicious web sites can potentially use to execute code on the device.

9 To 5 Mac's discovery is quite interesting as it shows that this is a recent and updated iPhone with an A5, rather then an old iPhone 4. Maybe the new iPhone 5 will bring some more carriers for the Americans, help slow the loss to Android?
That is my thinking as well. There has to be increasing pressure on Apple from Android, the stats show it.

Apparently, here in EU I get a different version of that policy:

triple: 20-30 dollar cost difference, probably less in quantity. It is just coming from apple not wanting to put a high res screen on the laptop for some reason, probably their misguided attempt at hitting a specific dpi count until resolution independance.

I find most of the comments puerile or insane--over reacting with disdain or glee--while the major concern should be the function. I still find iCal a little limited and annoyingly so in terms of notes attached to daily functions.
Who gives a crap how it is decorated! Make the thing work better and it will work better, and that's what matters to real people who need real organization within their lives.

In a physical sense, weight loss is simple. Burn more calories than you consume. Keeping it off means burning the same amount of calories you consume. Eating certain foods (ex broccoli, tea, DARK chocolate) have beneficial effects and are proven to increase the metabolism. Yes, the mechanics behind it are easy.
Which was my point. The problem with going beyond the mechanics in broad discussions like this is that every individual is different, but every individual's weight control comes down to the same basic mechanic.
I'd rather leave it to individuals themselves to work out what isn't working in their caloric balance, because in the end, they are the best placed to do that.

With that said, you have to see obesity as a problem with multiple causes and that there is almost always an underlying cause (ex: people eat more when they are depressed). The lady in this particular article however defies all logic as larger people do not want to be obese.
And I've said as much with my last posts. For morbid obesity, there's almost always something non-physical behind it which over the years has turned into physical disability. It's a "choice" in a sense, the choice to not fix the underlying issue. The thing with obesity is that it can stem from the same issues that brings alcoholism, gambling or drug abuse.
Most importantly, obesity will grow in both prevalence and level of negative effects until a holistic system of living healthy becomes standardized, which thus far, has not occurred to the level needed to start to lower obesity rates. Obesity is both a physical and psychological condition, and I would argue it is also a disease.
There is one interesting point I haven't brought up. For the US at least, there is one outside factor that is not 100% under the individual's control. The Corn Industry. You guys are being fed HFCS in everything if you aren't careful about the products you buy and high fructose corn syrup has been shown to cause weight gain : http://www.princeton.edu/main/news/archive/S26/91/22K07/
When rats are drinking high-fructose corn syrup at levels well below those in soda pop, they're becoming obese -- every single one, across the board. Even when rats are fed a high-fat diet, you don't see this; they don't all gain extra weight."
HFCS does the exact opposite of what it is supposed to do for you, instead of filling you up, it actually makes you more hungry, which then results in busting your caloric balance (since it is a dense calorie additive to begin with). McDonald's addiction ? Look no further than this. I'm sure everyone here has eaten a bigmac with fries, which in and of itself is a big meal (but not abusive, only sitting at 920 calories (http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutritionexchange/nutritionfacts.pdf) for the sandwich and medium fries with no sugared soft drink), and have felt hungry 20 minutes later. That's just insane. On the other hand, you go to Subway, eat a 6 inch sandwich and a chip, which is about the same quantity of food, you get only 2/3rds the calories and you don't feel hunger until you're ready for a late afternoon snack.

I'm not on AT&T (been on Rogers and Wind in Canada). On Rogers/Fido or Bell/Telus/Virgin its not uncommon to consistently hit 5-6mbps on an iPhone or other phone (with hspa up to 7.2mbps). They've had hspa+ in many areas for over a year as well.
So hearing 4mbps out of hspa+ which is being marketed as 4G is just sad.

I'm honestly surprised by a lot of you. The whole "no single android phone outsells the iPhone!" argument, is foolish and weak. It's a platform war.
How do you "win" a platform war?
Does Google win because they have so many devices running their Android OS? *Marketshare*

Sure we are all making jokes about Sheen and his antics. Lets not forget 2 other notable comedians that were huge drug users that showed warning signs, Chris Farley and John Belushi. Sheen is in huge denial and will most likely kill himself at some point.
It's really just sad that he's doing this, and that nobody is trying to stop him, from self destructing. Regardless of what he says or does and how comical all of this may seem to the whole world it's really a terrible thing to watch.
He's completely lost his mind and his kids now. The longer he keeps this up the more he may loose. If this was your best friend or a good family member you would try to stop them from doing this and get them the help they need.
Anyone else who did something like this would end up in jail, or a mental ward and would never work again. He's put many people out of work, and he thinks that he deserves to get paid for all the episodes he's not going to make? His justifications for wanting money are obviously for his expensive drug habit, and lifestyle.
We've lost many good actors and entertainers to drugs and to overindulgence. Not to mention this is what we're bombarded with on a daily basis in music videos, and pop TV. This is the end result of that party lifestyle. It's sad to see, and it's just not funny. I feel really bad for him.
It would be nice if his family would round him up and get him some help before something truly terrible happens.

I don't get what is the fuss about - many times I wasn't happy with purchased app, album, or downloaded something by mistake - and never had problems getting refunds from apple...

As someone making the switch from the PC to Mac world because of the iPod, I'd say Apple is on the upswing here. At least 3 friends of mine have made the switch as well.
I'd say plenty of people are beginning to realize there is a world besides Microsoft out there and the iPod is the ambassador of all of this. Speaking for myself but maybe others, once I go over to Mac, I'm not going back. So as long as Apple and the iPod stay relevant, I think you're going to see iPod users stick with their iPods and also buy Macs next time around.

For this arena, the tables are turned, and the person trying to preach the gospel of some Microsoft music player will sound like the Apple nuts I used to scratch my head at in 1998. Microsoft would have to do something complete revolutionary to change these dynamics, and I think they're too much of a behemoth to pull that one off.
I'd say plenty of people are beginning to realize there is a world besides Microsoft out there and the iPod is the ambassador of all of this. Speaking for myself but maybe others, once I go over to Mac, I'm not going back.
