Oooh... looks like we have the faux small-government types coming in! If you're worried about wasting of money, keep in mind that your government spends way more money on propaganda launched at you and empire-building than it does on the federal trade commission.

I don't want to spend money on wars, empire building, bailing out banks, paying for ever expanding social programs, propaganda campaigns, the FTC, The FCC, The ATF, the whatever commission we'll implement this week to take care of a make believe problem, OR trying to regulate my app purchases because one of my kids might rack up a bill. I'll take care of my kids, money, and app purchases without government intervention ,thank you. How's that for Faux?

I was watching AOTS (Attack of The Show) and they said in the next 5 years DVD sales will go down because of movies on demand on cable, and online. I think so too.

I have to agree with most here that Pages didn't live up to my expectations. However, I can't agree with you that Word has been perfected. Word is complete nightmare in certain situations. Its non-intuitive and not very user friendly in many cases (especially the windows version!). I do prefer it to Pages, but its by no means the best that can be done..Word was nearly perfect up until about version 4.0 (on the Mac), it was all downhill from there as far as I'm concerned. As for Pages, it looked pretty goofy to me as well, but the first versions of FCP, Keynote, OS X, all the iLife apps, .Mac, and pretty much anything else they're ever done were quite flakey, slow, underfeatured, and rough around the edges too. Apple just takes a long bloody time to refine their apps until they're "ready for prime time". That's fine, because once they do get an app refined, they tend to be fantastic -- I just wish they'd stop gouging us for full price each time we upgrade from their "betas" to a release-quality app. I'll check out Pages again when it gets to version 3.0.1 or so.

Very happy about iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion, i'm guessing MobileMe will also be revamped as well in the conference.
But, i can't believe Hardware won't be previewed this time. I was hoping to see some nice new iMacs with Lion, but more importantly iPhone 5. Hoping for an earlier launch date.

Fair enough, I suppose, if people are willing to pay for them (especially that much $$$). It would be interesting to hear reports about camera performance after the conversion.

I have a crop camera and I know it is 1.6x factor on EF. therefore a ef 50mm = 80mm.
now here is where I do not understand:
on a EF-S lens is the crop factor still 1.6x the lens value so a ef-s 65mm is really 117mm.
I just trying to understand what the benefit of crop camera lenses are if the lens has the same focal length as a EF lens.

EF-S 10-22mm is the same focal lens as a EF 16-24L lens, why produce a lens EF-S, when on a crop camera you could just add a EF 16-24mm L lens (other than cost).

I was playing with it and what you are putting the team number where you put your user number. In that same field you need to enter: 140721 this is your number. If you enter that number it should come up with your score. :)
