Soooo tomorrow is the day. Finally, months after watching those damn east coasters get a taste of PAX, it's back home on the best coast. Huzzah!
Gonna get on the inFamous machines asap as well as the Killzone 3 machines before they get mobbed down. Money is on Halo Reach being ***** nuts, as will the 3DS (if it's there......)

I still use a Verizon dumbphone. I see no real reason to switch to iphone, simply because I have little interest in the device (plus, I can't afford a data plan right now, which is required when you buy a Verizon smartphone)

All those stupid free cloud based services is easy to replace. If Apple can make a better map than google, even Steve died, Apple can go on and on its own.... I hope Steve can lead Apple and amaze me once again.

Why does it take a media storm for Apple to open up on an issue ? It would be so much better if they more forthcoming and frank before an issue snowballs.
Because it was never an issue. It turned out to be a misunderstanding, however, largely because a certain segment of the consumer population isn't very smart and can't understand they're really not important enough for Apple to be interested about when they visit Target or get milk.

No. It's fairly common sense stuff really to stick code in like class="title" instead of class="blue" to infer structure in a document, not the design.
I'm sorry to say that "class=title" is not structure either. It may look structured to you in the code (especially compared to "class=blue"), but it has no meaning as far as content structure goes. You should be using the headings tags (H1, H2, etc) and then apply styles to those tags.
Unless you're using <h1 class="title">, in which case I'll have to say "redundant". ;-)

I don't like the idea. The moment they start chipping away at devices, it'll set a bad precedent for future negotiations. It'll be hard to get back those rights. Apple, hold strong!! :)
As much as I don't like the idea of limiting the amount of devices that can play content purchased from the iTunes Store, I think that Apple might eventually have to come to a middleground with the other movie studios. Apple did have to come into some sort of agreement when the made the deal with Disney, so I think that they will do the same with the other studios.
Personally, I would not have too much of a problem if content were limited to 5 computers and 5 iPods.
I can understand what the studios are doing. Hell, I know it well because of the fact that I work in the movie industry. I can say first-hand that everything is about business and money first, artistic expression second.
