Will this be a problem??
as one of EB2 requirement is BS or equivalent US degree with 5 years of experience.
But this job desc says its 4-6 years..
Shout it say 5 or more years ??? please help me by commenting on this!!

yup your renewed 797 has not been entered in their PIMS database, that is why the delay , you should be all set in 1-2 weeks time.

Yeah I think it makes sense to fill I9 form because that way you make it clear that your intent moving forward is to be on AOS rather than H1. In case you dont do it then you are on dual status with H1 being primary status so in that case it is open to wide interpretation of CIS officers to classify it as out of status or in status.

Since I did not know how to write my name in my native alphabet, I askd my wife to write it for me. Is this an issue? Is there any requirement that one must write the name in native alphabet in one's own handwriting?

I use Canon gear, so am not much help with Nikon. However, my macro lens is the Sigma EX 105 and I think it is one of the best lens values available. I've owned it for a year now and use it more than any other of my lenses. Autofocus is slow, but I have yet to figure out why I'd want autofocus for macro work, so it doesn't matter. To get more reach, I'm seriously considering the new Sigma EX 150 macro. It is getting excellent reviews and images I've seen are as good as they get. I don't use any other magnifying techniques, so I can't offer any help with some of the other items you mentioned. Here's my current favorite shot with the Sigma macro.

What is the process of suggesting amendments to bills under consideration to lawmakers, e.g. the amendments to PACE suggested in my previous post- can I call/e-mail/fax all sponsors/lawmakers or can I only contact specific lawmakers (those of my area)? Any suggestions will be welcome!

When my AP came up for renewal my attorney asked to get new set of photos.
In addition my cousin's EAD application got RFE'ed to get new set of photos even though the photos were recent. The reason given was that they had used same photos to renew their visa few months back (less than 6 months).
Is USCIS coming up some new rule about photos being 'unused' ?? The guidelines say that photos should be recent (taken in last 6 months). However nowhere I do I see that the photos should be 'unused' previously ?
Anyone else had same experience ?

I applied in EB3 as a programmer and 4 years later with same employer i appied as Project Manager in EB2. I got my date ported and got my GC last month. Hope it helps. Best Luck

It happened to me as well, Last year my denied my Wife AP the Reson was that her 485 is approved, we send them the letter that its not the case and it was a mistake.....In the end we had to re- apply. I wonder if they can Print it on the same day in case of an emergency, why can't they give you the one which is already approved....weired people ...weired USCIS...

Because Republicans are blocking every bill in the Senate until the issues of Tax cuts is resolved, Sen. Reid needed to postpone the cloture vote on Dream Act to buy time to get more support. Senate Majority leader needed “Unanimous Consent” to withdraw his cloture motion and push back the vote. He did not get it, forcing him to offer a motion to table the cloture vote.
Tabling the cloture vote will allow Sen. Majority leader to bring the DREAM Act up again when the other issues have been resolved, and when there are 60 votes. We expect that Dream Act will surely come up for vote again before the end of 111th Congress.

I had applied for AOS,EAD and AP for me and my wife on July 2nd.
I got my EAD, Finger Printing Notification, but my wife's application got returned on Aug 30th. I called USCIS after 3 months to find out status on her case and they said it was returned on Aug 30th which we haven't received so far. The reason for rejection was incorrect or missing check.:(
So, can please any one tell me if i can re-apply her case even though i did not get her application back?
Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.

I have applied for my I-485 in June 2007.
This is what i got on 29 Nov-2007
On November 29, 2007, we mailed you a decision on your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
and on Dec 11th my status changed to
On December 11, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable
My attorney got letters that my wife and daughter got denied as mine was denied..i am runing out of time and still do not know why it was denied..
we are at the same address where we got our EAD's and AP's and we have been checking the mail box every day to find out the reason.
if somebody who knows or gone through the same please share with me what you did and what happened.

If your atterney got letters of your wife and kid, yours should had been sent to him too. It is possible that the address on your 485 has some mistake. Ask your atterney to check that with USCIS, and ask the decision be sent again. Your atterney probeblely has done this already.
People normally got a RFE or Intent to deny befor final decision. If the address on the 485 was wrong, your atterney wouldn't get those either. His not responding could result in abandenonment denial. It looks like there is a good chance that is what happened.

I personally think 1 yr+ wait should work. But definitely take the letters-to-congressmen route first.

Why even this discussion. there are many who no longer work for the sponsor even before getting the GC. What do you think happens if they find out? have you heard of anybody whose GC was affected?
because this will be a question when the candidate goes for citizenship. If candidate cannot convince the officer that his/her intention was to work with GC sponsor then citizenship may not be given.
