Hi all;
Questions if anyone has ever seen an RFE like this one.
My first RFE was asking for all documents related to work authorized by USCIS.
I think I responded properly and provided all documents requested.
Then another RFE just came in end of April mail asking for the following.
Please provide all school transcripts during your F1 student status.
Now I am dummy because up until about few days ago I just realized I made big mistake!
I have gap (7 months) from when I finished school (mid 2002) and when I was approved my H1B (Jan 2003)
I should have went on OPT after school but mistake I think I could wait pending my H1B application. I did not work during that 7 month period and stupid me did not go to school during that 7 month period in end 2002.
Any good lawyers in San Jose area think I can pass with a letter of explanation?

I got I-140 Notice returned as undeliverable.
I got email notification on June 26 as approved and we will mail it to you.
After 2 days lated my attorny told me that he got that letter, he send to me by email as pdf file.
I have a question the letter attorny got is pdf file or original by mail(post).
Who will get the I -140 aaproval original letter?

Usually if Primary's GC approved, RFE for dependents is minor.
When my GC is approved, my dependents get an RFE.
It is for Marriage certificate, birth certificate etc.
Lawyer want $250 for each persons to respond the rfe.
I did asked a copy from the lawyer and send the RFE reply. GC approved within 1 week.
USCIS condider each I-485 as seperate petition, not as a full family affair. My lawyer have all the details, but I think she send these documents with my package only. That is why these birth and marriage certificates are missed from my dependents file.
Lawyers make money and penalise us for their omissions also !!!!!!!!!!!!!
But they didn't admit it. But I did outsmart them with the RFE.
After one month legal aid call me for money and documents, I told them, I have GC in my hand. THANK YOU. !!!!!!!!!!

Since this thread is open and dont want to wast resouce on new thread. I want to ask people those who had already filed 485/EAD/AP that did anyone has taken photos at Walgreens.
I am getting $7.99 for taking 2 photos at Walgreens($48 for 2person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee. Whereas in Kinko's I am getting deal of $13.50 for first 2 photo and rest 4 photos for $13.50 ($54 for 2 person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee city area.
Now question besides money I want to know which one is worth taking chance for taking a picture interms of quality.

I have registered on USCIS website for I-485, AP and EAD. When I logged on today I saw last updated date modified to 11/25/2007.
Email notification for all the registerd cases is turned on. I did not receive any email notification for the updates
Just wondering if some one else in the same boat not receiving emails.

According to your post, according to the agreement between you and company A, you need to pay $2 per hour until the project ends. Why did you stop paying after 4 months of his cut. I guess the project is still going rt. So Company A wants to make sure that project ended. Company A is right. If your project is still going, you need to pay him $2 per hour until it ends.

What is the relation between a 3 year H1B Approval granted on an approved I-140 and the underlying I-140 petition ? Specifically, what happens if an employee leaves the company, are the remaining years (out of 3 granted originally) still valid ? What happens if the original employer revokes/cancels the underlying peition on which the extension was originally granted ? Is the H1B petition based on a an approved I-140 linked to that I-140 in anyway once it (H1B petition) is approved ? Please indicate any laws or precedents that can clarify the implications of the above scenarios.

If I were you, I would explore around the Legal Status from last entry.

I got an RFE about my company's latest Tax statement for the current year. When my attorney sent one, I got I140 approved immediately.
What I heard from my friends nowadays, usually it's company's ability to pay. If the company does not show sufficient income even to pay the employees, then there could be an issue. But just wait for the notice. I think your attorney gets the notice

I was in a similar situation and included 2 prepaid overnight envelopes (which btw, they have mentioned in their instructions). They probably tossed them in the bin and chose to send them by untrackable usps mail which took over a week to arrive. Very very aggravating! :mad:
