Wow just completed my first bigadv for an unbelievable 70,046 points. I can't even run fah all the time either, otherwise it would have been even higher (it causes a rubber banding effect in some games where they battle for cpu cycles).
Congratulations on your first bigadv WU!

I don't think there ever was a ppc 602 processor... at least in a mac. Am I wrong? 601, 603e and 604 (SWEET!).
As I recall, the 602 was an embedded applications processor like the 40x line.

Trying to tell y'all... the Verizon iPhone released in February may truly have switched up the game.
Apple & Verizon came together, and will make LTE work within the iPhone sooner than later, and AT&T is playing catch-up within their entire layout of LTE.
If there is indeed a wait on the iPhone 5(no June/July release), I'd expect it coming with LTE in the 1st quarter of 2012, or possibly this fall. Apple is making COIN on the iPhone 4, and the next big thing is - LTE(4G).
Apple is playing this smart as usual... Or this all could be a rumor, and the iPhone 5 will be here in a couple months for a 'normal' launch update, and the iPhone 6 will be the first to introduce LTE in 2012.
I really don't know... but I do think Apple is playing the Ace of Spades, and may hold on for a new release of the iPhone 4(especially in Verizon's case - Feb '11) before the market, and more emphatically, Verizon's market adoption is seen & heard... Think about it... Apple releases the Verizon iPhone in February, then 4 months later releases a new iPhone - there is some bad business going on there.
Apple is playing the cards right... just not for the consumer.
I do think Apple is taking a slower road on the iPhone5 for several reasons, but I do think it will be sooner than later.
Things Apple has going for it is the iPhone4 is still one of the best smart phones out there. Also, besides spec bumps and 4G (which is non-existent in 90% of the US), it's getting to a point where there's about as much as you can stick in a smart phone in there already. The other big advantage Apple has is they can give all iPhone4 customers a cool upgrade without touching the hardware. If they do a significant change with iOS5, it might be more than enough to carry us for another 6 months without any hardware envy.
I think fall may be it. Not sure yet... but I don't think the Verzion iPhone stopped or changed anything. I think it's more of a strategic plan to leverage all the components of the iPhone and iOS to keep it fresh.

When oh when are they going to update that insanely arcane iCal "feature" on .Mac. Why isn't it easy to access my calendars from my .Mac homepage? And WHY can't I ADD an event from .Mac. So frustrating.
And can we please for the love of God get a .Mac site optimized for mobile?

Wow, really? Thank goodness the majority of men are not this douchey.
Not being douchey. I'm talking about models. You're a model for a reason no?

I used to have a HyperCard stack that was full of old icons of all different kinds. The first page was an index of all the categories. I think it was just called Icon Stack. Does anyone still have a copy they could upload on rapidshare? I would really appreciate it.

I don't make a living with Photoshop, but it is a pretty serious side activity of mine, and as I said before, for what it is, Photogene is perfectly adequate for the general iPad user.
Unless they can add color profiles, different colorspaces other than RGB (LAB, CMYK, et al.), Photoshop for professional use will never get off the ground on a device like this.
Not to say you should be able to do a complete workflow from import to print on a tablet device, which, at least for now, seems completely unrealistic -- but I would think pros need to be able to import, see colors in a reasonable approximation for proofing or showing to clients, and maybe make spot edits based on client feedback.
I honestly wasn't too thrilled with Photoshop Express, which is why when I saw Photogene, I was immediately impressed with is features.

That's an even sillier statement.
Ask them about the complete re-write of their meta-data server.

What are you talking about? It's enabling choice. Customers have a choice to send their personal data to FT. Before, they did not.
Yeah, right. Could I see please a screenshot where I can opt in and out of such things in iOS, including Apple collecting my location information? I am sure it is somewhere, I just have a tad more trouble finding it compared to FT's example.
